I would like to let you know that although I did not know Kermit, I realized that he served with Company F of the 325th GIR in World War II. My father "Red Visco" also served with the 325th but in Company K. I might assume that they met one time or another and shared the same experiences throughout the Normandy Invasion and eventually their occupation of Berlin.
We all need to keep the memory alive of the sacrifices by these veterans who fought for our freedom.
