RIP Mr. Rogers. You were always in such good humor with us (then once) teenagers. My mother, Donna Riggle, really enjoyed working with you at the Senior High School. I recall just a few months ago, when I was a nurse aide at JSH, you came in for an overnight stay. You remembered exactly who I was. I'm not sure if that was a good or a bad thing lol. Anyway, you stayed for one night. The following night, your lovely wife came in. I was the only one to notice that she was in the same room and they exact same bed. It put a smile on my face. It's like you warmed the bed for her and was right there with her, even though you were not. Everything happens for a reason, and that was comforting to see. God Bless You Sir, it was a pleasure to know you in my life!

We have always remembered and laughed about when the fire whistle would blow-Guy would run out and jump in his car, slam it into reverse and fly in reverse across the intersection and stop(barely) in front of our house. Dad would run out, jump in the car and off they'd go to the firehouse...!!! Now with Dad and Guy together again, Heaven's Fire Company will never be the same...!

So sorry to hear this news. I have known the Rogers family since I was a child. He always had a wonderful smile on his face!
He and my Dad were proud firemen together. He always kept an eye on my as High School sporting events! It was always nice knowing he was there.
My thoughts are with the family. Take care.
