We were riding Harry Brooks' bus home from school and had just turned left from 220 onto Spook Hollow. Bob was talking to Richard Christian about needing to find a summer job. And this nine year old kid said "dad hasn't hired anybody for the summer yet." That was how I met Bob. He worked all summer, bought a Studebaker (I think), and eventually went to serve in the Navy. He stopped in to see us when he was on leave, can't believe that was over 50 years ago....he was a good guy to a kid who had no big brothers. Rest in peace.
