Virginia A. “Ginny” Moffitt, 93, of Williamsport PA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20, 1928 in Baltimore Maryland to the late Henry S. and Agnes (Gude) Mohr. She graduated from Canonsburg (PA) High School and worked briefly for the federal government after to Baltimore. Ginny married her first love, Jack, in 1946, and they were together for 71 years until he passed away in 2017. Ginny was a member of Hope Lutheran Church (Baltimore, MD), Christ Lutheran (LaVale, MD) and St. John Lutheran (Jersey Shore).
Ginny was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing and quilting. She won numerous ribbons in state and county fairs for her beautiful needlework and quilts. Ginny enjoyed traveling and she and Jack visited all fifty states, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
Ginny is survived by her four children Kathleen (Ronald) Brundick, Elizabeth (Vaughn) Paragamian, John Moffitt Jr. and Debra Moffitt; Four grandchildren Lisa (Matthew) Cramer, Laura (Tim) Sanborn, Jon (Rebekah) Paragamian and Karin (Matthew) Settles; and eight great- grandchildren to whom she was their Gigi, Benjamin, Jonathan, Matison, Saphira, Drake, Brody, Carter, and Caprice.
