Victoria "Vicki" Christina (Merritts) Hogan

Vicki Merritts Hogan passed away on June 22, 2023, in Williamsport, at the age of 76. Vicki was born in Jersey Shore to Joan Bobst Merritts and Arlington "Bud" Merritts. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, James Gregg Hogan.

Vicki was a creative and imaginative person with a strong personality and staggering confidence. She enjoyed painting, sewing, making crazy quilts, decorating, giving advice, and to say she was an avid shopper would be quite an understatement.

While Vicki held many jobs, she was best known for the 40+ years dedicated to representing thousands of clients in North Carolina who were denied Social Security disability benefits.

She will be missed by her surviving family members, including her sons and daughters-in-law, Chap and Andrea Godbey, Gentry and Anna Hogan, and Court and Jennifer Hogan; as well as her grandchildren, Fred and Julia Godbey, Natalie, Ryan, Grant and Alani Hogan; as well as many extended family members.

A private service will be held for Vicki's family and close friends to celebrate her life.
