Timothy Ward Obituary

CAMMAL - Timothy A. “Papa” Ward, 60, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was married to the former Audrey L. (Dennis) in 1985, who survives, and they have shared 36 years as husband and wife and 42 years together.

Timothy was born on March 20, 1961 in Wellsboro and was the son of Lawrence and Carol (Young) Ward of Palm Bay, FL.  He graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1979 and attended Indian River State College.  He served with the US Army.  Timothy was McHenry Township Supervisor and President of the Cammal Cemetery Association.  He also was a certified journey welder.  He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing and archery.  His greatest joy was to hang out with his grandchildren and family was everything to him.

In addition to his parents, his wife Audrey, he is survived by three daughters; Danielle L. Ward of Cammal, Nicole A. Ward of Williamsport and Lesley M. Kuhn (Michael) of Lock Haven, six grandchildren; Kalia L. Ward, Jayden C. Ward, Hunter T. Kuhn, Josiah A. Mills, Paislee M. Kuhn and Jillian A. Mills, one brother; Lawrence Ward, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL, two sisters; Kimberly Weber of Palm Bay, FL and Sherri Ward of Williamsport and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by grandparents; Lorenzo and Anna “Moonie” Campbell and Raymond and Arlene Young.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.  At 3 p.m., if anyone would like to share, please do so.  The family encourages attendees to wear something red, which was Timothy’s favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Wall St. Plaza, 88 Pine St., Suite 2400, New York, NY 10005.
