Ronnie J. Yothers, 86, of Waterville entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Lock Haven Rehab & Senior Living in Lock Haven after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Waterville, February 21, 1937 to Charles “Bob” and Mildred (Good) Yothers. Early in life, she was employed at Weldon’s in Williamsport and retired as the Head Cook for the Jersey Shore Area School District in the cafeteria. She was a member and very active with the Waterville Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary and headed many of the fire company’s dinners. She was also the Cummings Township Tax Collector for many years.
Ronnie’s survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Yothers whom survives along with four daughters: Debora Breining (James) of Jersey Shore, Cynthia Cline of Hollywood, Florida, Pamela Cline of Crystal River, Florida, and Vicki Laubach (Shane) of Jersey Shore. Also surviving are three step-children: Carolyn Malliard (David) of Erie, PA, Michael Yothers (Becky) of Washington State, and Christen Yothers of Virginia. There are 3 grandchildren: Jared (Poppy) Breining,
Ben Breining and Katelyn Laubach. There are 4 great grandchildren: Julia, Jaron, Jack and Juniper Breining. There are two surviving sisters: Charlene Sawyer of Jersey Shore and Mary Louise Bossert (Irv) of Payson, Arizona. She was predeceased by her first husband, Don B. Cline, her parents and a granddaughter, Chelsea Laubach.
In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, her service will be held privately at her family’s convenience. Her family suggests contributions be made to the Waterville Fire Department, 11009 North Route 44 Hwy., Waterville, PA 17776.
