Randall L. Burgit, lovingly known as Randy, was born on December 18, 1961, in Jersey Shore. He peacefully passed away on October 31, 2023, in Williamsport at the age of 61. Randy was a remarkable individual who lived a fulfilling life.
Randy dedicated several years of his professional life to West Pharmaceuticals in Jersey Shore from which he retired. Throughout his career, he demonstrated great commitment and passion for his work.
One of Randy's greatest joys in life was traveling to the Caribbean with his beloved wife. They created many unforgettable memories together, exploring beautiful destinations and immersing themselves in new cultures. Randy's adventurous spirit and love for travel brought him immense happiness.
Randy was an member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore. Additionally, he actively participated in various organizations such as American Legion Post #36 and Jersey Shore Elks, contributing his time and efforts to make a positive impact.
Randy is reunited in eternal peace with his parents, Jerome and Virginia "Jean" (Ryder) Burgit, as well as his sister Robin Burgit and nephew David Burgit. Although they have left this earthly realm, their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them.
Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted wife, Paula (Baker) Burgit, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His stepdaughter, Rebecca Styers, and stepson, Matthew Munro, were blessed to have him as a guiding figure in their lives. Randy's grandson, Maulique Frazier, brought so much joy to his heart.
In addition to his immediate family, Randy is survived by his brother Rick (Hilde) Burgit, a brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, and his nephew Aaron (April) Burgit. Their lives were enriched by Randy's presence, and his memory will forever bring them comfort.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Flemington First Church of Christ, located at 714 Canal Street in Mill Hall, PA 17751. The service will commence at 6:00pm and will be an opportunity for friends and loved ones to honor and remember Randy's remarkable life.
Randy Burgit was a kind-hearted and genuine individual who touched the lives of many. His love for his family and friends left an indelible mark on those he encountered. He will be deeply missed but always remembered with admiration and love.
