Perry W. Haines, 74, of Jersey Shore passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. He was born October 10, 1946 In Ridley Park, Delaware County, the son of the late A. Willard and Mary (Rudolf) Haines.
Perry was a graduate of the State College area high school. He was a bricklayer by trade for over 51 years and retired from SCI Rockview in 1999 where he was a masonry instructor. Perry was a proud US Army veteran serving in Vietnam in the 101st Airborne with a rank of E4. He was a good conversationalist who had a very “laid back” personality and a kind heart. He was a member of the Vietnam Veteran Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed listening to country and 50’s, 60’s music and having a fun time. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with them.
Perry is survived by two loving sons, Alan Haines (Dawn), of Howard, Jason Haines (Dana), of State College, five grandchildren and his loving companion, Vicki Starr, of Jersey Shore.
There will be a casual viewing beginning at 2 PM, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Tributes of Life Crematory Chapel, 1000 Hill Alley, Jersey Shore. The crematory chapel is located behind the funeral home. Perry’s family has entrusted arrangements to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.

Refreshments are being served at the Jersey Shore American Legion, 320 Seminary St.
