Michael Krape

Michael Krape, 64, of Avis, passed away at his home Monday, Dec. 14, 2020.  He was born in Williamsport, the son of Ronald and Beverly (Aber) Krape and on May 18, 1956. 

Michael was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School.  He married Robin (Harris) on September 17, 1983 sharing 37 years together.  Michael was employed as a Tech 5 at First Quality and had worked there for over 11 years.   He was a member of Ducks Unlimited-Water Fowl Group; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors.  Michael loved decorating for the holidays and you could always find him tinkering around in his woodworking shop.

Michael is survived by his father and, his wife Robin, one son, James D. Krape, of Scranton, two daughters, Nichole A. Minarich (Todd), of VA, Savannah K. Peters (Benjamin), of Beech Creek; two sisters, Melissa Fidler (Scott), of Avis, Toylin Ergott (Earl), of Avis; ten grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew and his mother in law, Jeannette L. Harris. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, his stepmother, Mary Kay (Donnell) Krape and father in law, Robert D. Harris.

Due to the COVID19 restrictions, there will be no services.
