Obituary

Lon M. Fisher, 65 of Jersey Shore passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. 

Lon was born in Jersey Shore on June 30, 1956 to Merrill and Anne (Gibson) Fisher.  On September 30, 1978 he married the love of his life Tina M. (Crawley) Fisher.  He attended Jersey Shore High School and was a truck driver for more than 30 years, eventually owning his own trucking business.  He retired in October of 2021.  Lon enjoyed Hunting, fishing, working on cars and especially riding his Motorcycle.  He was also was a member of the Jersey Shore Elks Lodge #1057.

Besides Lon’s wife Tina, he is survived by two children: Loni Thomas (Jamie) of Nippenose Valley and Christopher Fisher (Jill) of Avis. Four grandchildren: Amelia, Zane, Lucy & Logan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Michael Fisher. 

In keeping with Lon’s wishes there will be no services.
