Linda B. (Baird) Patterson

Linda (Baird) Patterson, 77, formerly of Cogan Station, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Nippenose Valley Village, South Williamsport. She was born in Lock Haven on June 9, 1942 to the late William and Louise (McElroy) Baird.

Linda was Christian by faith. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her family. Linda also enjoyed picnicking, crocheting and bowling. One of her favorite pastimes was riding her bike on Rails to Trails with her late husband Jimmy. The two completed the entire trail together.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Amy (Chris) Lorson, Jersey Shore; four grandchildren, Alleshia Fink, Justin Fink (Danielle), Reba Lorson and Rachel Lorson; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Fink; and a brother, Robert Baird (Carol), Jersey Shore. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, John “Jimmy” Patterson and a brother, William Baird.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.

 The family suggests donations in Linda’s name be made to the National Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association or the Stroke Association.
