John S. Frederick, 71, of Jersey Shore passed away Monday, March 7, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville due to complications of esophageal cancer.
John was born on July 27, 1951 in Jersey Shore, the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Maggs) Frederick and graduated in 1969 from Jersey Shore High School where he played on the football team. He was manager of four convenient stores in Lycoming County by the age of 21; and later became involved in the delivery and distribution business and employed by several companies. For the past 20 years he was employed by Frito-Lay, where he worked as a trucker driver. John was a dedicated employed who loved his job! In his spare time he enjoyed his family & friends. He loved to travel, especially to Ocean City, Maryland with his family! He enjoyed meeting new people and cherished the company of his cats.
John’s survivors include his daughter Amy Frederick of Williamsport and grandchildren Zane & Avery. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sandra Watkins Frederick.
In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no services.
