Howard J. Steinbacher, Jr.

Howard J. Steinbacher, Jr., 75 of Jersey Shore passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

He was born August 31, 1945 in Williamsport a son of Howard J. and Geraldine (Hauser) Steinbacher, Sr.  Howard was a Jersey Shore High School Graduate.  In 1963 he married the former Faye Ford who survives.  Howard retired from First Quality in the fall of 2008 as a sewing machine Technician.  He was an accomplished dart player and enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.  He had a great sense of humor.

Besides his wife Faye, of 58 years, he is survived by one son Rick (Kellie) Steinbacher of Cogan Station and one daughter Angela (Steven) Smith of Lock Haven, two grandchildren Eric Steinbacher and Tabitha Stover and one great grandchild Ashton Steinbacher.  He also has two brothers, John, of Loganton, Bill of Montoursville, and one sister Joanne Cooler of Georgia who survives him.

In keeping with Howard’s wishes, his services and interment will be held privately at his family’s convenience.  There will be no visitation
