Harriet Heisey Obituary
JERSEY SHORE - Harriet Z. Heisey, 96, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Jersey Shore Skilled Nursing.
She was born in Porter Township on May 28, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Christian I. and Mary (Zeigler) Heisey. Harriet graduated from Jersey Shore High School and then attended Penn State. She had worked at the Williamsport Hospital for over 19 years. Harriet was a member of Mountain View Alliance Church where she was a librarian and involved with the missions and was a member of the Senior Citizens in Jersey Shore. She enjoyed gardening.
Harriet is survived by nine nieces and nephews and one sister-in-law; Doris Heisey of Jersey Shore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Jacob, Jay and Irving Heisey and five sisters; Pauline and Ruth Heisey, Barbara Miller, Mary Singley and Alice Fox.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support a mission of one’s choice.
