Gary D. Bodle, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, peacefully passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 58. He was born on January 23, 1965, in Williamsport, PA, and his vibrant spirit touched the lives of those around him.

 

Gary dedicated his professional career as a Technical Engineer in the Pharmaceutical industry, where he found fulfillment and enjoyed his job immensely. His dedication to his work was evident in the knowledge and expertise he brought to his role.

 

Beyond his professional life, Gary had several interests that brought joy to his heart. He was an avid supporter of the NRA, passionate about defending the rights and freedoms dear to his heart. Gary was also a selfless individual who embodied the act of giving back to others by being an organ donor. He found great fulfillment in helping those in need, always lending a helping hand whenever possible.

 

Gary proudly served in the US Army Reserves, where he exhibited his unwavering commitment and loyalty to his country. His service was a testament to his character and the values he held dear.

 

Preceding him in death is his stepfather, Frank E. Walters, Sr. Gary will forever be remembered by his loving mother, Sandra Walters, who cherished their bond deeply.

 

He leaves behind his daughters Felicia Timmins (Tom) and Heather Greene (James). Felicia and her husband Tom have a son, Tommy Jr., whom Gary adored and doted on. Heather and James have been blessed with four children; Noah, Cassidy, Kyle and Ellen.  All of his grandchildren brought immense joy to Gary's life.

 

Gary is also survived by his brothers, Robert Bodle and Frank E. Walters, Jr., who shared a special bond with him throughout their lives.

 

Services for Gary D. Bodle will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember Gary for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, and his legacy will inspire us to continue helping others, just as he did throughout his life.
