Frances E. Jackson, 90, formerly of Lock Haven and Jersey Shore passed away, Monday, January 11, 2021, at Jersey Shore Manor Care. She was born November 21, 1930, in Lock Haven, a daughter of Clayton A. and Gladys K. (Mitcheltree) Reeder, Sr.
Frances and her husband, Wilbur C. Jackson, who passed away November 24, 2012, were married June 5, 1948, in Winchester, VA. She and Wilbur owned and operated the Jackson Sunoco Gas Station and The N.A.P.A. store in Jersey Shore. She was a member of Lighthouse Wesleyan Church in Jersey Shore.
Her survivors include two daughters, Wanda K. Buck (Alan), of Brookside and Suzanne R. Waters (Rev. Rick) of Williamsport; two sons, Steven D. Jackson (Diane), of Williamsport and Dennis L. Jackson, of Jersey Shore; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Reeder, Sr., of Mill Hall and a sister in law, Rose Reeder, of Mill Hall.
Frances’s services will be held privately at her family’s convenience. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mackeyville. Her arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. Contributions may be made to the Lighthouse Wesleyan Church, 220 High Street, Jersey Shore, PA 17740.
