Donna L. Gaylor

Donna L. (Heck) Gaylor, 88, of Lock Haven passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Susque View Home Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Donna was born October 2, 1934 a daughter to the late Henry & Esta (Felmlee) Heck.  She graduated from Jersey Shore High School and was employed for many years as a senior bookkeeper and office manager at Susquehanna Paper Company.  In September of 1982, she married the love of her life Sheldon Gaylor and they shared 25 years together until his passing in 2007.

Donna was an active and dedicated member of the Avis United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed going on bus trips with her husband to various locations in the United States and was an avid Penn State football fan.

Donna is survived by a sister, Esther McKeague; a sister-in-law, Elese Nestlerode; two nieces, Carrie Heidt (Paul) and Roxie Nestlerode; also her great niece Katherine and great nephew Stephen who were very special to her.  

The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to the Susque View staff for all the wonderful care they gave Donna during her time there.

There will be a service held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Avis United Methodist Church at 10:00a.m. with Rev. Brian Moyer officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donna’s name may be made to the Avis United Methodist Church.
