Donald Boring Obituary

Donald L. Boring, 78, of Salladasburg passed away Friday evening May 19, 2023 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.  He was born April 19, 1945 in Spangler, PA, a son of Lyle and Louise (Barkey) Boring.  He was a graduate of Northern Cambria High School.  He was a supervisor with the maintenance department of West Company in Montgomery for many years.  He was a member of the Church of St. Luke Catholic Church in Jersey Shore.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing at White Deer.

His survivors include his wife, the former Mary F. Boggetta whom he married in July 24, 1965; his daughter Laura M. Clark (Christopher) of Trout Run and two grandchildren, Isabella and Max Clark.  He is also survived by one brother, Daniel Boring of Nippenose Valley and one sister Brenda Koons of Jersey Shore.  He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Boring, Jr. in 1989 and his siblings Marlene Robinson, Willavene Wright, Bernadine Oechler, Cheryl Boring, Ronald Boring, and Terry Lee Boring.

Donald’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Friday, May 26th, 2023 from St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 120 Kendall Avenue, Jersey Shore, PA with his Priest Father Bert Kozen officiating.  Interment will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
