Darla M. (Moltz) Doebler, 74, of Jersey Shore, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport. She was born in Jersey Shore on October 30, 1949 to the late Herbert and Mary Elma (Schenk) Moltz.
Darla was a graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School. She worked at WBVFCU for 43 years before retiring as the MSR Supervisor in 2021. After her retirement, Darla volunteered her time at The New Love Center in Avis. She was a charter member of the rainbow girls of Jersey Shore; she served as a state officer. Darla loved to play bingo, go on shopping trips, attend craft shows and host get-togethers with her friends and family. She felt blessed to have so many special friends. Every year in August, you would find Darla in her tent at the Grange Fair Encampment in Centre Hall; she will be sorely missed by many there.
Darla is survived by a sister, Shirlee (Richard) Barkman; a sister-in-law, Roberta Moltz, both of Jersey Shore; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Darla is preceded in death by a brother, James Moltz; and two nieces, Christy and Jody Barkman.
