Bruce R. “Dick” Rishel, 68, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Geisinger Hospital Jersey Shore. He was born in Loganton, March 2, 1953 a son of Bruce Q. and Marian P. (Weaver) Rishel.
For over 22 years he was a Carney and Ferris-Wheel operator for Benner’s Amusements. He also enjoyed auctions, pig roasts and cookouts. He loved being around his family.
Dicks survivors include his companion of 15 years, Cindy Werkheiser, along with his daughter Dana Mitsdarfer, of Hughesville and three grand children, Ashlynn Charles, Payton Mitsdarfer and Abel Snyder; one brother, Harry Rishel of McElhatten and 2 sisters Minnie Pursel of Williamsport and Sarah Rishel of Muncy, along with several nieces & nephews.
In keeping with Dick’s wishes a pig roast & cook out will be held at his family’s convenience at Indian Park later this upcoming summer.
