LOCK HAVEN - Winona G. "Hill" Tompkins, 70, passed away, Friday, February 3, 2017.

She was born in Sayre on January 22, 1947, the daughter of the late, Walter T. and Leatrice "Smith" Hill.

She was the wife of Ray Tompkins and they shared many wonderful years together before his passing in 1985.

Winnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lamar and lover her brothers and sisters very much.

She was a homemaker that loved to do crafting and putting together puzzles.  Along with crafts and puzzles she liked to paint with water colors. Winnie just adored her cat Smokey.

Winnie is survived by her two brothers; Lonnie (Carrie), of Front Royal, VA and Nelson (Chelan), of San Rafael, Ca also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Wilfred.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorial contributions be sent to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Rd., Lock Haven, PA 17745.

There will be a celebration of Winnie's life at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St. Jersey Shore on Friday, February 10, 2017. Visitation will be from 9am-11am with a service following.  Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Montgomery.
