WATERVILLE - Willis H. Jones, Sr. 83 passed away at home in Waterville (English Center) on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Born in Pine Grove, PA on March 3, 1932 the son of Walter and Laura (Brown) Jones.  He married the former Theresa Clark in May of 1952 and together they shared 63 years of marriage.

Willis was a steel worker in the Grace Mines in Morgantown PA before they closed and he transferred to Bethlehem Steel in Williamsport where he retired in 1982.

Willis loved hunting, fishing and the mountains of Northern PA.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and some of his favorite things in life were to tell jokes and pull practical jokes.  Willis was loved by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Theresa, he is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly Lake (Jim) of Towanda and Lori Crum (Mike) of Trout Run and a son Willis H. Jones, Jr. of Honey Brook, PA.  He is also survived by 2 sisters Shirley Fleischut and Betty Brown and several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Willis was predeceased by 3 sons, Stephen, Jeffrey, Walter Jones, a sister Gloria Moyer and a brother Charles Jones.

In keeping with Willis' wishes his services and interment will be at the convenience of his family.  Instead of flowers, contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
