Wayne Allen Johnson, 69, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, at Edenbrook South in Williamsport.  Wayne was born on March 23, 1955, to the late Martin V. and Margurite (Truax) Johnson in Jersey Shore.

Wayne devoted his professional life to serving others as a Food Service Worker, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication throughout his career.  Beyond his work, he was deeply involved in his community being a member of the American Legion Post 36, Vietnam War Vets, Vietnam Post PA51, Holy Name Society at St. Luke's, Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Council, 942 Assembly of Williamsport, Knights of Columbus, Regular Council of Jersey Shore, Life Member of 1st Calvary Division, Member of ACR 2nd Level.

He cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren, finding great joy and fulfillment in their presence.  A passionate supporter of the Penn State football team, Wayne enjoyed cheering them on, a pastime that brought him much happiness.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clarence "C.J." Johnson and a sister, Martina L. Johnson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (Snavely) Johnson; his sons, Richard Snavley and Carl Barr; his daughter, Christine Barr; his brother, Andrew (Sue) Johnson; as well as Isabella Barr, his granddaughter and 17 other cherished grandchildren who will remember him fondly.
