Virginia Louise (Jones) Lindsey, 89, of Woolrich passed away Wednesday, June 05, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Lock Haven on December 13, 1934, a daughter of the late Leslie and Gladys (Springer) Jones.

She was married to the late Ronald Wayne Lindsey on April 6, 1957 and they shared 53 years of marriage until his death in 2011.

For the first eight years of school, she attended Caldwell's one room schoolhouse.  She was a graduate of Lock Haven High School and had worked and retired from Doeblers PA Hybrid after about 15 years.  She was a member of the Woolrich Community United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds from her porch window and being of service to others.  Most of all, she loved being with her grandsons and great grandson whenever possible.

Surviving Virginia are her two daughters, Rachel L. Jenkins (Paul) of Columbia, MD and Roni M. Lindsey Eichenlaub of Lock Haven, four grandsons; Jeremiah Mosser, Colin Mosser, Michael Jenkins and Declan Jenkins, one great-grandson; Wyatt Mosser and one brother; Willard Jones (Marilyn).  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother; Vincent Jones.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home on 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore.
