Vera R. Myers, 94, of Lock Haven, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Lock Haven Skilled Rehab, Lock Haven Hospital, Lock Haven.

Vera was born on July 29, 1923 in Jersey Shore, the daughter of the late William H. and Minerva "Minny" (Phipps) Ryan.  On December 15, 1945, she married Reeder K. Myers who preceded her in death on March 2, 1983.

She graduated from Jersey Shore High School and worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Harry Smith, Lock Haven, for 20 years.  Earlier in life she worked for Sylvania and the Silk Mill in Lock Haven.

Vera was a member of the East Main Street United Methodist Church, Lock Haven and enjoyed reading, planting flowers and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren

Vera is survived by a son, Michael K. Myers of Lock Haven; two daughters, Carla K. Pearce and Carole R. Gerst both of Milesburg; three grandchildren, Michelle Godley, Michael Myers, Jr. and Morgan Snook and four great grandchildren; Ryann, Camilla, Vera and Raina.

In addition to her husband and parents, Vera was preceded in death by two brothers; William and Jack Ryan.

A private committal service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Woolrich.

Arrangements are in the care of Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
