Veda M. Hilborn, 91, formerly of Slate Run, passed away Friday, Jul 23, 2021 at Manor Care in Jersey Shore.  She was born in Slate Run, March 29, 1930, a daughter of Ernest and Natalie (Borden) Hilborn.

Early in life Veda was employed by Kelco and she retired from the West Company in Jersey Shore where she was an IV Line Inspector. She enjoyed puzzles and loved the Pine Creek Valley especially Slate Run.

Her survivors include her daughter, Joy Barker (Alex), of Jersey Shore and three grandchildren, Gary, Ken and A.J. Veda also has a sister, Flora Bremigen, of Jersey Shore who survives her.

In keeping with Veda's wishes, there will be no services or visitation.  She will be laid to rest in Slate Run.  Her family suggests contributions be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, by going online to www.donate.lovetotherescue.org
