Troy F. Showers Sr., age 60, of Jersey Shore, passed away on April 6, 2024. Born on May 5, 1963, in Jersey Shore, Troy was a devoted Truck Driver for over 30 years, known for his hard work and dedication.

In his free time, Troy enjoyed fishing, watching old movies, drawing, and most importantly, taking care of his family and spending quality time with his boys.

Troy is survived by his wife, Freda L. Showers, his sons Troy F. Showers Jr. and Travis A. (Rachelle) Showers, his brothers Leonard Winchester and James Showers, his sisters Roxanne Riggle and Jessica (Michael) Letterman, as well as his step-brothers Michael (Nora) Hopple, and Douglas (Deborah) Hopple.

Troy was preceded in death by his mother Ruthann Showers and step-father James L. Hopple.

In keeping with his wishes, a private memorial service will be held at a later date to honor the life of Troy F. Showers Sr. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street of Jersey Shore.
