Steven W. Vanemon, 68, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport.  He was born in Jersey Shore, November 10, 1953, the son of William P. and Muriel E. (Stark) Vanemon.

Steve was a graduate of the Jersey Shore High School class of 1972.  Steve married the love of his life, the former Deb (Bickel), September 1, 1973 and they shared 48 wonderful years together. He was a member of the VFW 5859 and enjoyed playing poker with his Thursday and Saturday night card playing buddies.  He enjoyed their cruises to Alaska, Bermuda and the Caribbean.  Steve enjoyed "scooting" around the neighborhood.

Besides his wife, Deb, Steve is survived by his daughter, Shannon Lynn (Jeff), of Wellsboro and their children, Braeden and Kyleigh; his son Jason "Jake" Vanemon and his children Blaze and Elle; three brothers, Andrew (Bonnie),of Grover, Melvin (Lori), of Jersey Shore and Wayne (Debra), of South Williamsport, along with his sister, Lorraine Noble, of Witchita Falls, TX.

Steve's service will be held at the Tributes of Life Crematory Chapel, 1000 Hill Alley, Jersey Shore beginning with a visitation at 3 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2021.
