- JERSEY SHORE -

Shirley B. Rodabaugh, 90, formerly of Jersey Shore and most recently a resident of Fulmer's Personal Care Home in Lock Haven, passed away Friday October 21, 2016. Shirley was born January 9, 1926, to the late James A. and Mabel J. (Feerrar) Stout.

Shirley graduated from Lock Haven High School and Valley Forge Christian College where she achieved a degree in Bible Science.  She was married to Richard V. Rodabaugh, who passed away in March of 1993.  Shirley was a former director of the Love Center in Jersey Shore; she enjoyed writing poetry, being a free-lance writer and painting. She was very talented.  Shirley also enjoyed being a homemaker and was a past president of the Jersey Shore Senior High School PTA. She attended the Lifetree Church in Jersey Shore.

Shirley is survived by 2 sons, Richard, of San Antonio, TX, Donald (Mary) Rodabaugh of Troutman, NC, 1 daughter, Sandy (Steve) Keller of Pine Creek and her daughter-in-law Peggy, of Lock Haven, 1 brother, Leroy Stout of Biloxi, MS, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was predeceased by a son, Robert Rodabaugh, 5 brothers, Scott, Donald, James, Eugene and Harold Stout; 4 sisters, Violet Motter, Winfred Long, Hazel Wink and Vivian Bower.

A public visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 12 pm to 1 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1 pm at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore.  Burial will follow at the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Pastor Don Peters, of Lifetree Church, Jersey Shore will officiate.
