Sandra A. "Sandy" (Snyder) Myers, 87, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

She was married to the late Richard A. "Dick" Myers, who had passed away in 2009.

Sandra was born on July 11, 1937 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Fountain R. and Hazel (Moore) Snyder.  She had graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1956.  Sandra had worked at Lehmans Pharmacy for 26 years.  She was a member of the former Waterville United Methodist Charge, Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church and started attending the Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, Jersey Shore in 2023 where she had started the "Golden Gems".  She enjoyed reading and volunteering with the Susquehanna Hospice.

There will be a graveside service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Jersey Shore Cemetery Chapel, Jersey Shore.  Pastors Danesta Whaley and Howard Woodruff will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Health Foundation, c/o The Gatehouse, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 11701.

Arrangements are being handled by Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
