Sandra J. Nichols 85, of Jersey Shore passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at The Gatehouse Hospice in Williamsport.  She was born April 9, 1938 in Lock Haven a daughter of Francis and Katharine Weaver Horne.  She was married to Robert Nichols who passed away September 15, 2017.  She was employed early in life with Sylvania Corp and was a machinist for Tetley tea starting in 1970 and retiring in 1999.  Sandra was a "character" and had a wicked sense of humor.  She enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, but her love was her family especially her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Her Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Christian (Don) of North Pole, Alaska and her son Robert Nichols (Lisa) of Avis; three grandchildren, Ben Christian, Michael Nichols and Megan Nichols, along with eleven great grandchildren; one brother Buck Horne of Avis and two sisters Mary Ann Welshans and Kathy Bowers.

In keeping with Sandra's wishes there will be no visitation or services.  Her family suggests contributions be made to The Gatehouse Hospice 1100 Grampian Boulevard Williamsport PA, 17701
