Ronald W. Richards, 73, of 6682 W. Rte 973, Cogan station, PA died on November 14, 2015 at his residence.

He was born in Erie, PA on December 2, 1941 the son of William and Estella Bederman Richards.

He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Williamsport, PA.  He was a retired trucker, US Army Veteran and long time member of the American Legion.

He was married to Betty Lou Phillips Richards, who passed away on August 23, 2006.

They were married on February 21, 1976 and shared 39 years together.

Ronald was survived by 3 daughters, Roberta "Bobby" Conway (Brice), of Antes Fort, Yvonne Boring (Carl Miller) of Jersey Shore, PA, Yvette Robinson of Linden and a son Jason Richards (Tracy) of Cogan Station.  He is also survived 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Ronald's "Life Celebration" memorial service will be held at 8 PM on Thursday November 19, 2015 at Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore with Pastor John Aderhold officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 PM prior to his services.  Interment will be 10 AM Tuesday, November 24 at the Salladasburg Cemetery.
