HOWARD - Roderick P. "Rod" Andrus, 59, passed away at his home on Monday, July 15, 2024 surrounded by his family.

He was married to the former Shannon M. (Yarnell) on September 28, 2013, who survives, and they have celebrated 10 years of marriage.

Roderick was born in Lock Haven on July 2, 1965 and was the son of the late John and Dorothy Andrus.  He had worked for Susqueview for over ten years.  He had also been a HVAC Tech with his father.

In addition to his wife Shannon, he is survived by three sons; Sean Andrus of New York, Matt Andrus (Brittany) of Avis and James Buck of Jersey Shore, one daughter; Zena Hostrander (Spencer) of Linden and nine grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; John and Stanley Andrus.

In keeping with Roderick's wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are being handled by Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
