JERSEY SHORE - Rockwell "Rocky" H. VanEmon Sr., 62 of 1057 River Mill Rd. Jersey Shore, passed away March23, 2016. He was born February 23, 1954, son of the late Richard and Darlene (Gromley) VanEmon.

Rocky is survived by his wife Lucille (Hackenberg) VanEmon, one daughter, Candyce VanEmon, two sons, Rockwell VanEmon, Jr and Roy VanEmon(Amber Koch); two grandchildren, Hunter and Haylynn.  He is also survived by two brothers Randolph (Barbara) VanEmon and Rudell VanEmon, two sisters, Rachel Hubler and Rosila (Dan) Tressler; his "in-laws", Jerome and Susan (DeWald) Hackenberg,

"Hack" (Kim) Hackenberg, Teresa (John) Marsh, and several nieces and nephews.

Rocky was a loving husband to Lucy for 27 years and a loving father to his three wonderful children.

He learned his hard work ethic from his grandparents Roy and Rachel Gromley and he had been employed as a truck driver for P Stone, Inc. for the past 29 years.

Rocky enjoyed watching Nascar and football, he loved going hunting fishing and camping or simply just spending time with his family especially his grandkids

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Please send any flowers or contributions directly to Lucy at their home.
