JERSEY SHORE - Robert C. Weigel, 73, of Lock Haven, passed away Sunday, Jan 29, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1943 the son of the late Ivan and Helen (Hipple) Weigel.

Robert graduated from the Jersey Shore Area Senior High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era.  He worked as a self employed carpenter.  Robert loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed going to yard sales and looking for antiques at flea markets.

Robert is survived by 3 daughters; Roberta (Brice) Conway, Antes Fort, , Yvonne (Carl) Weigel, Jersey Shore, and Yvette Robinson, Linden, 6 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 sisters, Joyce Willits, Avis, Iva Berger, Williamsport and Naomi Wingrove, South Williamsport.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert Weigel, a brother and 2 sisters.

Services for Robert will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore, Pa  17740.
