Robert Lynn Snyder, Sr., aged 84, of Avis, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026. Born on June 11, 1941, in Lock Haven, to the late Robert Lucas and Ruby (Dunkleberger) Snyder, Robert lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and passions.

Robert devoted over 30 years of his professional life as a Lab Technician with Lonza, where he was admired for his work ethic and commitment. Beyond his career, Robert found great joy in nature, spending countless hours fishing and hunting. He was a man of deep faith, finding solace and wisdom in reading God's Word. His greatest happiness came from cherished moments spent with his family, sharing in hearty meals and laughter.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved parents, whose memories he held close throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Patricia A. Snyder, who stood by his side through all of life's challenges and triumphs. He leaves behind a loving legacy of three children: sons, Robert L. (Debra) Snyder, Jr. and Keith A. (Michelle) Snyder, and daughter, Tracie A. (Tod) Dillard. Robert's memory will also be treasured by his seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, whose lives he touched deeply with his kindness and warmth.

In keeping with Robert's wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
