JERSEY SHORE - Raymond D. Palski, 83, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.

He was the husband of the former Catherine L. (Engel), who survives. They had just celebrated 45 years of marriage on June 26th.

Raymond was born on August 17, 1942 in Jersey Shore and was the son of the late Anthony (Tony) and Dorothy (Rummings) Palski. He worked at Cohicks & Thompson Meats and then Textron Lycoming where he retired after 31 years service. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and loved reading his bible, gardening, mowing the lawn, hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was being with family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle and he will be greatly missed by us all.

In addition to his wife Catherine, he is survived by two sons; Daniel Palski (Leona) and David Palski (Melanie) one granddaughter; Tina Marie Newberry, four grandsons; Andrew Palski, Ryan Palski, Derrick Palski and Jared Palski, one great-granddaughter; Josie Marie Newberry and one sister; Connie Emert (Jim). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Eugene and James “Jim” Palski.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
