IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul L.
Neill
July 28, 1939 – June 21, 2025
Paul L. Neill, age 85, of Antes Fort, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025. Born on July 28, 1939, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Hubert and Beatrice (White) Neill.
Paul dedicated his career to his work as a Project Manager and Price Estimator for various firms, demonstrating his meticulous nature and commitment to excellence. His proudest professional achievements, however, were found in his service to his country. Paul served actively in the United States Army Reserves for over 30 years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Early in his career, he was appointed Company Commander of the 327th Supply and Service reserve unit in Williamsport. He also spent several summer training assignments working at the Pentagon in Washington DC. Paul earned numerous awards and commendations for his dedication and service.
Beyond his professional life, Paul was deeply involved in his community. He devoted many years to serving on the Parsonage Committee and the Antes Fort Church Board, and contributed significantly as a township supervisor and member of the planning and zoning committees. His dedication to public service reflected his belief in the importance of giving back.
In his leisure time Paul enjoyed hunting, gardening, clearing the woodlands around his home and "tinkering". Without fear he would disassemble any object, tool or piece of equipment that was in need of repair, figure out how to fix it and put it back together successfully...most of the time.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Doris (Dorwart) Neill, and his sisters, Jean Liberti and Dorothy Kimble. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Beatrice Neill.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paul's life Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Antes Fort Methodist Church, 39 Main Rd, Jersey Shore with Pastor Max Furman and Pastor David Brenneman officiating. The service will begin at approximately 11:00 AM, with a public viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. To leave condolences or share fond memories, please visit www.rearickcarpenter.com.
