JERSEY SHORE - Nancy J. (Robinson) Shadle, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at her home.

She was married on June 21, 2008 to Glenn E. Shadle, who survives, and they had just celebrated 18 years as husband and wife.

Nancy was born on May 16, 1953 in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Robinson. She had worked as a CNA at Manor Care, Jersey Shore where she retired from. After retiring, she worked at Weis in the Deli Department. She enjoyed cooking, collecting elephants, and loved her dog, Sitka. Her greatest love was for her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Glenn, she is survived by three sons; Jason Bass (Lisa) of Idaho, Thomas Cassel of Woolrich and Trevor Cassel of Jersey Shore, one daughter; Erica Wagner of Williamsport, seven grandchildren; Alexis Bass, Corey Bass, Jayden Bass, Nariah Werkheiser, Patience Miller, Charlie Johnson, Jr. and Tobias Cassel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

There will be a gathering of family and friends 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore where the memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. with pastor Laura Gilbert officiating.
