AVIS - Michael Allen Edwards, 54, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019 at his residence.

Michael was born in Jersey Shore on July 23, 1965 and was the son of Mary J. (Myers) Edwards of Avis and the late Carl Allen Edwards.  He enjoyed woodworking and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife; Dianne M. Edwards, one son; Riley N. Edwards of Lewistown, one daughter; Morgan L. Edwards of Mill Hall, two grandchildren; Amelia McCabe and Piper Edwards, two sisters; Tammy L. Nonemaker of McElhattan and Dawn R. Miller of Crown Point, NY and one step-daughter; Reachal Ritter of Lewistown.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister; Lisa Haines and one brother; Timothy Lee Edwards.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family and burial will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery and will be officiated by Sandra Myers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are being handled by the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
