Melvin D. Clausen, 88, of Williamsport passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at The Williamsport Home.  He was born in Traer, Iowa May 11, 1934 a son of Henry and Lillian Clausen.  He was a member of Fairlawn Community Church in Cogan Station. He was a forester for the Pennsylvania Department of Forestry for over 37 years, retiring in 2000. He was also a United States Army Veteran.

His survivors include his daughter Sherry Clausen of Canton, OH, along with siblings Robert Clausen and Reva Cox (Harold) all of Traer, Iowa.

In keeping with Melvin's wishes there will be no services and interment will be private in Highland Cemetery in Lock Haven.
