JERSEY SHORE - Maxine V. (Berry) Hallett, 96, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at Rose View Center, Williamsport.

She was married on September 28, 1979 to Charles A. "Chuck" Hallett, who survives and they would have celebrated 40 years together this September.

Maxine was born on February 25, 1923 in Lumber and was the daughter of the late Edward and Pearl Berry.  She had worked most of her life and retired from the nursing field.  She enjoyed bingo, crocheting and baking.

In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by two daughters; Virginia M. Larson (Howard) of Ocala, FL and Sherri S. Roupp (Steve) of Jersey Shore, three grandchildren; Melissa Moore (Darven), Erica Harrison and Kimberly Larson, seven great-grandchildren; Brynne, Gianna, Asher, Xander, Navarra, Darven and Devon, one great-great grandchild; Devonah, three step-children; Marveena Cobb (Jim) of Wellsboro and Gracie Runner (Larry) and Charles Hallett, Jr. (Josephine), all of Galeton and numerous step-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings and one great-great grandson; Ky'mani Moore.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family and interment will be held in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
