Mary Elizabeth (Good) Prince, 91, of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 26, 2017 with her three devoted daughters by her side.

She was married to the late Harry E. "Rudy" Prince for 59 years at the time of his death in January 2002.

Mary was born on March 28, 1925 in Jersey Shore and was the daughter of the late Burt A. and Julia L. (Carr) Good.  She graduated from Jersey Shore High School.  She was a dedicated homemaker who had also worked at Weldon's then owned and operated a ceramic business out of her home.  She was  a long time member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church.  Her hobbies included; knitting, crocheting, sewing, ceramics, fishing and gardening.  She especially loved her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by three daughters; Sandra P. Kinley (Bill) of Osteen, FL, Patricia P. "Trish" Hartle (Pat) of Williamsport and Diane L. Prince of Jersey Shore, seven grandchildren; Angela Bowes, Gina Carothers, Marc Kinley, Matt Kinley, Darryl Stroble, Shawn Gatz and Josh Hartle, nine great-grandchildren; Torry and Travis Stroble, Sarah, Sadie and Kaelyn Kinley, Olivia and Shannon Bowes and Tyler and Travis Carothers, two great-great-grandchildren; Wyatt and Aubree Stroble and one sister; Delores Koch (Floyd) of Linden.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters; Mildred Yothers, Marjorie Smith, Alice Hughes, Elsie Good, Helen Stabley and Bertina Royer.

There will be a public viewing 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, where the funeral service will be held 12:00 (Noon) with Pastor George C. Grossman officiating.  Burial will follow in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
