CHRISTIANA - Martha J. (Davidson) Moffett, 95, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was married November 1943 to the late Donald W. Moffett who preceded her in death in 2004.

Martha was born in Delmont on June 6, 1922 and was the daughter of the late John G. and Landie Marie (Schuler) Davidson.  She had graduated from West Chester University with a degree in music.  She was a member of the Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church where she had played the organ.  She was a former member of the Christiana Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Bridge Club, Lanchester Community Chorus, was part of the Welcome Wagon for both Trumble, Connecticut and Media, PA.  She had worked at her husband's store "The Treasure Box" and had taught piano for many years.

Martha is survived by three sons; Richard N. "Rick" (Joy) Moffett of Jersey Shore, James D. "Jim" (Lynn) of North East, MD and David R. (Sharon) Moffett of McKinney, TX, four grandchildren; David Moffett, Lisa Olbeter, Eric Moffett and Chris Moffett, three step-granddaughters; Beth, Brenda and Karen, five great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church, 23 Green Street, Christiana, PA 17509.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Latta Memorial Presbyterian Church or to the Christiana Fire Company, 214 Bridge St, Christiana, PA 17509.
