JERSEY SHORE - Keith A. Zerby, 59, of Jersey Shore passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at the Jersey Shore Hospital.  He was born September 1, 1957, the son of the late Kenneth W. and Frances (Willits) Zerby. He was married to the former Brenda Oister, they married November 11, 1998 and have been blessed with sharing over 20 years together.

Keith graduated in 1975 from the Jersey Shore Area Senior High School.  He was employed for the past 36 years as a waste water supervisor for the Jersey Shore Borough, most recently known as the Tiadaghton Valley Municipal Authority. Keith's past employment encompassed a variety of jobs working for the Jersey Shore School District, Joe Feerrar Builders and the Allegheny House.  He loved football and his favorite teams were Penn State and St. Louis Rams. Keith enjoyed camping and going to Auctions.  He loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He was a kind, caring man well known for his friendly personality and always greeting everyone with a smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, three daughters, Angela (Rodney) Yearick of Lock Haven, Amanda Brown and Stephanie (Timothy) Wommer both of Jersey Shore; one brother, Kenneth (Tammy) Zerby of Lock Haven, two sisters, Darlene (Gary) Ingram of Lock Haven and Kim (Chris) Rohrer of Carlisle; 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Trevor, Hunter, Autumn, Tristan, Landon, Jaiden, Brysen, Sydney, Morgan, many nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, Missy, Tyson and Jaxson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A public visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016 3-6 pm and Monday, Dec 19, 2016, 12 noon – 1:30 pm followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm at the Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, 1002 Allegheny Street, Jersey Shore. Dr. Nathan Carpenter will officiate.
