Judith E. "Judy" Olmstead, a cherished sister, aunt, and friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 83 on April 3, 2026, at her home in Avis. Judy was born on July 2, 1942, in Williamsport, to the late Harold and Evelyn (Kramer) Olmstead, Sr.
Judy dedicated many years of her career as a Cuff Operator for Woolrich, Inc. and later contributed her skills to Lock Haven Laundry. Her diligence and commitment left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
In her leisure time, Judy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in completing jigsaw puzzles, crafting whimsical clowns, and spending tranquil days camping at Little Place Campground. These activities brought her immense happiness and shaped fond memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her brother, Harold Olmstead, Jr., her sister, Beverly Karichner, her brother-in-law, Ronald Karichner, and nephew, Brian S. Miller. She leaves behind her devoted sister Linda (John) Miller and her sister-in-law, Betty Olmstead, along with many nieces and nephews who will continue to hold her memory dear.
In accordance with Judy's wishes, all services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Judy will be laid to rest in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
