WILLIAMSPORT - Joseph H. Cramer, Jr., 85, passed away at WeCare at Sycamore Rehab & Nursing on the Fourth of July.

He was born on March 23, 1939 in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Joseph H. and Catherine (Cleary) Cramer.  Joseph graduated from high school in Red Creek, New York, and later obtained both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Political Science at Villanova.  He then joined and served with the United States Marine Corps.  Joseph worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch for over 25 years.  He was an active member of St. Luke's Church, Jersey Shore.  He enjoyed fly fishing, the Yankees, and Mickey Mantle.  Joseph was a friend of Bill for 40 years.

Joseph is survived by two sons, Matthew J. Cramer (Lisa) of Williamsport and Jonathan B. Cramer (Cindy) of Parker, Colorado; one daughter, Anne C. Cramer (Raphael Shea) of Aurora, New York; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Jonathan, Matison, Carson and Kyla; three brothers, Paul Cramer (Bonnie) of New York, Dennis Cramer (Diane) of S. Williamsport and Christopher Cramer (Amy) of Red Creek, New York and one sister, Mary Cathleen Zimdahl (Frank) of Aurora, New York.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald Cramer.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
