Joanne F. Rogers, 87, of Jersey Shore passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  Joanne was born March 12, 1935 a daughter to the late Martin & Helen (Lucas) Johnson.

Joanne was a Steel worker at Wire Rope (formerly Bethlehem Steel) for nearly 35 years and she retired from there in 2000.  In Joanne's spare time she enjoyed working in her yard and gardening.  She loved quilts and dogs.  She also enjoyed decorating her home, baking and traveling.

Joanne is Survived by her children:  one son; Luther Rogers, Jr. and five daughters; Donna Stover, Karen Welshans, June Vogt, Trudy LaFond and Terry Huntington, two sisters; Marion Miller and Edna Morek.  She had 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brothers; Clarence, Charles, Martin, James and Emery Johnson, two sisters; Shirley and Irene Johnson; a grandson Cory Welshans and a great granddaughter Dakota Hope.

In keeping with Joanne's wishes there will be no services.
