Jerry L. Yothers, 86 of Jersey Shore, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024.  Jerry was born on May 1, 1938 to Harry and Mary (Garverick) Yothers in Jersey Shore.  Jerry was a dedicated Tool Manufacturer at AVCO in Williamsport, where he worked diligently for 31 years until is retirement in 2001.

Jerry had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing during his free time. He was also an avid carpenter and gardener, always finding joy in creating and nurturing. His love for watching Western movies and tinkering with everything around him brought much delight to his life and those who knew him.

Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ronnie J. Yothers; and his sister, Nancy Ulmer.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Rebecca) Yothers of Washington; daughters, Carolyn (David) Malliard of East Springfield and Cristen Yothers of Virginia; step-daughters, Debora (James) Breining and Vicki Laubach of Jersey Shore, Cynthia Cline and Pamela Cline of Florida. Jerry also leaves behind two grandchildren; Ashley Yothers and Kristofer Sandell and five great-grandchildren; Bentley Straub, Maddox Conway, Summer Sandell, Kristofer Sandell Jr, and Alexander Sandell, who will cherish his memory.
